New features!

Two New Multiplayer Combat Events:
- DeadRinger, an entirely new multiplayer game feature, being the first pilot to fly through the floating rings is difficult, but doing it while other pilots try to shoot you down is almost impossible.
- Hardcore Combat, sustaining high-g maneuvers will cause progressively fading vision at best, and unconsciousness and a crash at worst.
- Now more in-game control of multiplayer sessions and events. For example, events may now end after a certain number of points are accumulated or a specified amount of time has elapsed.

New Combat Events:
Streamer Cut, Paintball, Rocket, Machine Gun, AceRace

Sky Grid:
Overlay a colored grid on the sky to ensure perfectly symmetrical patterns and pinpoint entries and exits

New Glider Launch Options
Get maximum altitude with ease! Your first option is a bungee launch. But choose an aero tow, and you get a free tow and release at altitude - automatically!

Overhead Feature:
The Overhead feature superimposes a site map over the terrain, showing your location and the location of the runway.

New Airplanes:
- ElectriFly Edge 540 EP (flat foam version of the Edge 540 Aerobat)
- ElectriFly Cirrus SR22 Turbo (scale civilian sport aircraft)
- Flyzone Switch (high-wing trainer & mid-wing sport versions)
- General Atomics MQ-9 "Reaper" (UAV)
- Russian Thunder RF-97 Sailplane

New Helicopter:
- Westland Lynx Scale Military Heli

Features:
- Using G5.5s Multiplayer and your Internet connection you can fly with other RealFlight pilots.
- Hook up with an instructor for one-on-one tutoring, engage in combat with a single opponent or a patrol - or host multiplayer events for a whole squadron.
- You can invite guests, choose sites, aircraft and events, limit play by points or elapsed time - and automate it all, so you can join the fun, too.
- Please note, the number of participants in a Multiplayer session may be limited by the internet connection (speed and bandwidth) available to each participant.
- Pilots License, choose a name, select an avatar, and create your own profile to share - including a personal statement and flight hours logged.
- In Combat Events, select a single opponent from any number of participants and track his movement throughout the virtual arena.
- Use the Aircraft Editor to add cameras to your plane or heli, just like any other object.
- Movable camera angles can be changed through your controller.
- Activate servos using a switch or rotary knob to rotate the camera position.
- Another RealFlight R/C simulator first - First Person Video (FPV) puts you in the pilots seat, experiencing your simulated flight as you would from inside the cockpit.
- Window frames, wings, engines and other detail in first-person views.
- TruFlo Wind Dynamics allow you to designate wind direction and speed, from blustery to mild.
- Several flying sites support Dynamic Slope Soaring and hand-launch gliders. G5.5 more accurately renders thermal winds-static thermals and dynamic thermals Depth of Field Effect keeps your model the visual focal point of your simulation - while anything that falls outside of its immediate vicinity loses sharpness.
- Water Takeoffs and Landings allow any of G5.5s float-equipped aircraft to turn ponds, lakes and oceans into landing strips.
- Built-in interface allows you to use your own transmitter if desired. MultiMode lets you use the controller and interface simultaneously - a feature no other R/C simulator has.
- InterLink Elite controller is based upon Futabas popular 6EX complete with digital trims.
- PhotoField sites are legendary for razor-sharp detail. 3D flying sites are embedded in over 5,000 square miles of TrueLife Terrain.
- Use the FlexiField flying site editor to add buildings, trees and more.
- Virtual Flight Instruction, G5.5 includes new training functions and lessons from the pros. Complete with voiceover commands and video display of proper stick movements.
